Are Yeezy slides still worth going for?

Originally launching in December of 2019, the Yeezy slide has been an iconic piece of any sneakerhead's collection. Nearly three years later, we continue to see restocks and new colorways almost every month. This leads to the question of how much longer the slides will be as profitable as they once were.

Looking on several online marketplaces, we can see that the original colorways of the slides significantly out perform the most recent releases. If we look at the Flax color in particular, it can be seen that they are barely going above retail. While some may argue that it is just a bad colorway, it is still not a great sign to see. From analyzing the trends in resell value, it can be seen that each time the slides restock the value goes down. This is just simple supply and demand in action. As people hit restocks and manage to get their hands on a pair, the demand diminishes and the resell prices fall.

Even the neutral colorways such as bone, pure, and resin are falling. On marketplaces such as StockX, there is a seperate listing for resock pairs which really highlights the difference in value.

However, with all this being said I do not believe the Yeezy slide resell is dead yet. I would still highly recommend entering the raffles and trying to secure a pair. Even though the resell value is falling, there is still profit to be made in most colorways especially if you sell locally to avoid fees. In my opinion, these are best as a quick flip and holding on to them posses the risk of a restock and the value falling more. But for now, the resell is still there and I would still recommend running bots or entering raffles for them!
